Design of Cuban Coat of arms :-
Cuban coat of arms is formed by two circular arcs cut backing their concavity one to the other, forming a heart-shaped ogive, it is divided in three fields. Cuba, as the key of Mexican gulf, the unity of the cubans, the sun of liberty, the colors of the flag of Cuba and a typical Cuban landscape. A red Phrygian cap, pointing in right side at the upper most part, appears in its design This cap had been used in ancient times by the men who got freedom at that time. In central part there appears a five-pointed white star, and like the Cuban flag , it represents the independent state.
The Coat of Arms has been held by the bunch of eleven sticks tied by a red ribbon , x-crossed, which means union, because it represents strength is in it . The upper horizontal field represents a sea, with two mountains, which represent the position of the country of Cuba between the two, Americas and the rising of a new nation.
A golden key placed in a blue sea. A raising sun spreads its rays all over he sky, is at the bottom, representing the place of Cuba as : “The Key of the New World”, link between America and Europe and North and South America, as well as the rise with a shine of the new-born state.
at the lower left field there is a rural landscape, green and mountain site, a blue and clear sky, representing the Cuban environment, plain and natural, presided by a palm tree, a royal palm, the typical Cuban tree, with its central leave bud pointing up, emblem of the straight character of the Cuban people.
At the lower right field has five same width stripes, alternating dark blue and white and bending from right to left, and associated to the flag. These blue and white stripes symbolize the department division of the island under Spanish colonialism.
